Janus Youth Programs has the following positions available. Janus is a nonprofit agency providing community-based services, including residential and shelter care, to youth referred by OYA and/or DHS, as well as homeless and street-dependent youth. We operate facilities in Oregon and in SW Washington. We are an agency that values diversity and values the contributions made by our staff in helping the youth we serve. Direct Care Staff needed at Buckman House to provide client supervision and oversee day-to-day operation of a residential independent living treatment program for males, ages 17-24, who are re-entering the community from close custody juvenile correction institutions. Bachelor's Degree is social work, juvenile justice, or related field or equivalent training and experience is required. Two years' experience and clinical training working with adolescents is preferred. Position is part-time, 20-24 hours per week. Starting pay is $10/hour; pro-rated benefits. Relief Workers
Relief Workers are needed to fill-in for regular staff who are on vacation, ill, attending trainings, or are otherwise unavailable. Currently there is specific need for relief workers at:
- Garfield House, a shelter serving runaway youth. Priof experience working with adolescents in a residential or shelter setting is preferred; driving is required. Beginning pay is $9.50/hour.
