Provide a Meal For Homeless Youth

Every night of the year, 60 homeless youth have a safe place to stay at Portland's only two youth shelters. For most youth, the dinner we serve will be the only hot and nutritious meal they will have all day. We rely on donations from our community to serve 21,900 dinners to homeless youth each year.

Meal Makers is a volunteer program that helps us coordinate meal donations for our youth shelters. Volunteers sign up to prepare a hot or cold meal off-site and deliver it to our shelters to be served by staff. Meal Makers can prepare a meal on a one-time or monthly basis (6 month commitment). To get involved, click on a day that works for you!

Don't have a lot of time? For community members who would like to support our homeless youth by providing a meal, but are short on time, you help by paying for the meal and we will do the cooking for you. Make an online donation now!
